Feeding Instructions
- Shake well before using. Some of the natural components, such as lecithins and oryzanols have a tendency to settle. Shaking will easily remix all the components.
- Two to eight fluid ounces of rice bran oil should be top-dressed on feed daily for an average size riding horse (approximately 1200-lbs. body weight).
- With two fluid ounces, improvements can be seen in the hair coat.
- Four fluid ounces can produce weight gain.
- Eight fluid ounces should provide significant weight gain and maximum benefits to the hair coat.
- As a general rule of good feeding practices, the oil should be introduced gradually.
- To retain full antioxidant activity, we recommend that McCauley's Rice Bran Oil be consumed within 2 months after opening. If the foil seal remains unbroken, McCauley's Rice Bran Oil should retain its full potency for approximately one year under reasonable storage conditions.
